Jack Gunthridge is a writer, director, producer, and star. In 2000, he formed Jack Gunthridge Productions as a way to maintain artistic control over his works. While his company started out producing shorts, by the end of 2001 it produced its first feature, Thursday. Since that time, he has produced another feature film and a TV series. In 2008, Jack Gunthridge Productions started to go into the distribution business. The majority of his work can be found on Amazon.
2008 also saw Jack diversify his portfolio even more. Jack Gunthridge Publishing was established to produce and distribute his first novel, Life. The book has gone on to be his most acclaimed work to date with it being called a modern literary masterpiece and Jack being compared to J.D. Salinger. If his film and TV work has not been as frequent lately, it is because he has been busy doing book stuff. Don't worry. The second season of The Gunthridge Show will be starting soon. Jack could never leave his first love.
